this was a successful week - i made it to christmas, getting everything done i needed to, made it through M's family christmas eve get together without punching his eldest sister in the face, and got in a fair amount of sewing time.
i caught up with the catvent quilt along, and assembled my blocks in to a 63" x 63" top.
i also finally quilted my Tinker Madrona Road quilt that i basted nearly two months ago! i've got the hand stitching on the binding to do tonight, then i can cross that one off my list!
that's a good thing, since i'm getting geared up to participate in the Feathers QAL hosted by Nydia of The ADD Quilter and using Alison Glass' Feathers pattern. i'm still working on fabric selections, but i have a few more days before it starts on the 3rd!
goals for this week:
---> order background fabric (Kona Steel) for Feathers QAL
---> decide on fabrics to use for Feathers QAL
---> take and post pictures of finished Tinker quilt
---> quilt Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt, bind and finish
---> piece a backing and prep a binding for catvent quilt
