12 in '12 Challenge - October Finish

welcome to the September installment of the 12 Quilts in ’12 Challenge! safieh is hosting on her blog, but be sure to check out the finishes of my other co-host liz! We hope you will join in!

this month i had a pretty big finish - M's t-shirt quilt is finally done!  i don't have any photos, though, because i can't photograph it without help, and i'm trying to keep it a surprise for another two weeks until his birthday!

i also started and finished a mini quilt for the Houston Modern Quilt Guild mini quilt challenge.  i used my newly learned skill from Sewing Summit of piecing together equilateral triangles and i love how this one turned out!  so much that i'm planning on making another for myself!



i also used my rubber stamps to make the label on the back, since i'm that lazy!
