i finished the blouse i started on sunday, and wore it to work today. i even got compliments from a few people! it's not perfect, but i'm pretty pleased. i tapered the pattern (Simplicity 2263) in a bit from a few inches below the underarm seam to the hem, and made the neckline a bit lower than the pattern called for. next time i think i will add an inch or so to the length, but other than that, i'm pleased with the fit.
this whipped up so quickly and easily that i think i'll make another out of my one of greenfield hills voiles. i have these two in sufficient yardage:
i'm not sure yet which one i'll make out of the simplicity pattern, but i'm planning on trying the wiksten tank out of the other.
