In the interest of keeping those few regular readers I do have, there won't be any pictures to go with this post.
Thursday, June 7, 2012 I had breast reduction surgery. I requested my doc take me from a generous 36G (for ginormous!) to a nice tiny 36B. For the past week I've been all wrapped up in an ace bandage and in varying degrees of pain. As of 8:00 pm I'm on my third painkiller prescription, and am really hoping this one works!
Today my bandages were removed and doc says everything looks great. Being a squeamish sort, I didn't really want to look but I did take a quick peek. In a word. . . Frankenboob!
Now I'm in a sports bra 24/7 for the next six weeks, during which my stitches should dissolve on their own and the surgical glue should wear off (and I'm not supposed to pick at it!) Since I can't put on a real bra I don't know whether I'm a B or a C but I'm pretty damn excited either way!!! I can't wait to be able to wear some of the cute clothes I've bought and to be able to go shopping soon for more! Seriously, I wish I'd done this years ago!

Yay!I hope the pain is better today, Amy. I'm glad you did this for yourself!
