i've made more progress on my little apples drunkard's path blocks in the past week. by last saturday morning i had the quadrants for twenty small blocks all made, and by monday morning i had twenty completed small blocks.
i knew that the twenty blocks laid out 4 x 5 was too small even for a baby quilt, so i waffled over what to do. i finally decided that i'd rather make four large drunkard's path blocks for the center of the quilt and use the small blocks as a border than to have to make twenty more small blocks!
as you can see in the picture above, i've now got all of my blocks made (20 small and 4 large) and have them laid out and ready to sew together. i'm hoping for a bit of sewing time tonight to get these sewn together, then i need to pick out backing and binding. i shouldn't have any trouble getting this all finished except the handstitching on the binding before my surgery on june 7, so that i can do that while i'm recovering.

Love the Drunkard path blocks! They are one of my favorites. I have yet to try them, but they are on my list of things to do (someday). Found you on Freshly Pieced.
