
this week i've continued to work on my mini-swoon blocks for the 3 x 6 bee. i finished lisa's, pictured above. i'm surprised by how much i love the color combo she picked! i kind of want a whole quilt of these!
i also have ella's almost completed, but no pics of it.

last friday i got my green string quilt back from the longarmer. erin did the most fantastic job and even exceeded my expectations! on monday night i was able to sew the binding to the quilt front and press to the back. a big shout out to safieh for prepping the binding for me! tuesday night i handstitched the binding on two and one-third sides while i watched Bones on netflix.
as you can see, i had help:

my goal is to finish the handstitching tonight so i can have the quilt on our bed when M gets home from shreveport thursday night (our anniversary!).
