show & tell tuesday

i'm going to try to blog more frequently this year, so tuesdays are going to be show and tell days here at the house of bad cats.

this weekend i finally finished a baby quilt for my co-worker's first-born child, a boy. i started this months ago - the baby was born in mid-september, so i was glad to get this one done. i also really like the way it turned out, and i'm going to make a similar one for my sister-in-law's nephew.



last night i started and finished an embroidery. i have no designated use for this, but i'm thinking i'll send it to my january ALFALC swap partner, since it's good for valentine's day, but also year-round, too.
