WIP Wednesday




this has not been a productive sewing week.  i have no sewing projects to show off.  work has been really crappy lately, and when i get home, i feel so gross and stressed out that i just want to curl up in bed with the cats.  i mean, i don't even hardly want to read!

but, while i haven't been sewing much, i have been staying on track with healthier eating and exercising!

i've been to spin class twice since last friday, and i'm going after work today.  i kind of decided three times a week is a good place to start.  and, if i feel like it, i can go to water aerobics or something else one or two times.

vegetables and fruit are making their way back into my diet, too.  i've been eating a 4-cup serving of mixed lettuces and spinach for lunch, with light dressing and cherry tomatoes, supplemented with a serving of lean turkey or ham deli meat.  i've been eating blackberries and bananas for snacks, and making things like roasted brussels sprouts to go with dinner.  i stopped at the store on my way home last night to stock up again and bought grapefruit, strawberries, blackberries, bananas, and greek yogurt.  we won't talk about the six large cartons of tin roof sundae ice cream i bought for M!  i won't eat that, though, so it's not even a temptation, thankfully!

I have tried but cannot learn to like Brussels sprouts. :-/
