WIP Wednesday

i've made more progress on my second string triangle quilt this week, despite a nasty virus that caused me to start vomiting during the forth quarter of the super bowl and kept me out of commission the rest of the evening and all of Monday.

i finished assembling the triangle blocks into a top, and pulled fabric from my stash and pieced a backing.  i used pinks since the triangles used more girly fabrics this time.





i also cut strips for binding, but haven't pieced those together yet.  i'm not sure when i'll be able to get this one basted and quilted, since i'm having a small surgery today, but hopefully it won't be too long!
