this month i had two baby quilts to start and finish - one for my podiatrist and one for M's niece erinn.
i made the whirligig quilt pictured above for erinn. it went together super quickly and i was able to use mostly fabrics from my stash. in fact, i only bought one fabric - the multi dots on white - and i intended to use that for the backing. i ended up using some in the top and then pieced a backing using the leftovers from the top. that means i still have enough of the dots to use as backing for another baby quilt later!
for dr. haase, i really waffled over what to make but in the end used a WIP from my list so that i killed two birds with one stone.
