Friday Finish - Catvent Quilt
back in december, i participated in the Catvent Quilt Along hosted by Elizabeth Hartman. Each day from december 1-25 she would post a pattern on her blog for that day's cat. Her blocks were to finish at 6", and i re-sized mine to finish at 9". for each day i made two cats. forty-nine of the fifty i made went into the quilt pictured above. the lone remaining cat got made into a pouch for a friend.
my friend, pam biswas, recently bought a long arm machine and frame, so i asked her to quilt this for me. i specifically requested an undulating intersecting line design she'd done on another friend's quilt recently. here's a picture she sent me with a close up of the quilting:
i am so thrilled with this quilt! in fact, it might be my favorite i've ever made! i absolutely love it!
